There is a great job opportunity coming up in Young Irish Film Makers for a YOUTH FILM PROJECT COORDINATOR starting in January 2017.
Could you be the next YIFM Film Project Coordinator?
They are looking for someone with a proven track record in a youth film, youth arts or arts management position. Someone with the ability to build on an existing network in the formal & informal education and youth work sectors. You have to be a team player with excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.
The ability to be creative and work on your own initiative to deliver on project deadlines. Will be called upon to write and deliver regular work reports & funding applications to current and potential funding bodies. Social media skills & experience are necessary to create awareness among target clientele via new media. The successful candidate will ideally have working knowledge of film making and the ability to work & engage with young people. Some travel will be included as part of the work.

Founded in 1991 Young Irish Film Makers is an exciting, dynamic and ambitious national youth arts organisation that aims to develop talent, creativity and skills in young people. The strength of the organisation lies in the ability to combine film making and digital media creation with personal and professional development in an informal learning environment.
Nationally, YIFM works with over 1,200 young people annually, delivering workshops in film and digital media, particularly for those in disadvantaged areas. These active learning workshops and projects provide much needed skills for the next generation of young filmmakers and digital content creators.
