Locations > The Inch Beach

Confusingly marked as Ballintra on the map this is locally known as Inch Beach.
Probably one of the prettiest beaches in the area it is popular with everyone from surfers to dog walkers. A beach of two halves, one side is sand backed by rushes and a small river while the other has interesting rock formations jutting out into the bay backed by small cliffs and dunes, making an ideal platform for high angle shots. A cliff walk offers more dramatic views of Power Head promontory to the EastTwo separate roads access either end of the beach, so make sure to read the map carefully!
